Fundamental to the work of the psychologist Carl Rogers, the Person-Centered Approach, and other forms of experiential psychotherapy is the “Encounter Group.” Encounter Groups are a special kind of group experience with no leader, few rules, and no predetermined agenda. One of the basic ideals of the Encounter Group is that members share the responsibilities and privileges of leadership within the group and each member grows to become an equal facilitator within the group experience.

This 5th annual weekend-long encounter group is open to mental health professionals, students, academics, and other interested professionals. Admission is free, but the size of this group is limited so you will need to reserve a spot to participate.
